How to recover PSN account without email

You can enable easy account password recovery by both adding a mobile phone number and setting up a security question for your account.

These 2 features can only be set if you presently know your login information for future password recovery. If you've already lost your login information, please see How to Reset Password for Your Account on PSN for self-help.

Set a Security Question on PlayStation 4
1.       Firstly, Go to Settings > Account Management > Account Information > Security.
2.       Enter Sign-in information > Security Question and Answer.
3.       Add a security question from the list or make your own.
4.       Click Continue > Type your Security Answer in the text field.
5.       Click Confirm to save your changes.

Set a Security Question on the Web

Sign in to your PlayStation Network on the web browser.
1.       In the Account section, select Security.
2.       Click Edit next to Security Question and Answer.
3.       Add a security question from the list or make your own.
4.       Type in your answer within the Security Answer field.
5.       Click Save to save your changes.

How to Add a Contact Number to Your Account on PS4
1.       From the PS4 main menu, go to Settings > Account Management > Account Information > Security.
2.       Enter Sign-In Information if asked > Choose Mobile Phones > Add Your Mobile Phone.
3.       Select Mobile Number and enter your mobile phone number > press R2 when complete.
4.       Select Add to save your mobile phone number to your account.

6.       Sign in to your PlayStation Network on the web browser.
7.       In the Account section, choose > click on Security.
8.       Click the Edit button next to Mobile Phones > click Add a Mobile Phone.
9.       Enter your contact number and click Continue.

The mobile phone number you entered is now linked with your account.

Protect Against Unwanted Logins with 2-Step Verification
2-Step Verification offers an extra layer of account security by texting a verification code to your mobile phone whenever a new login is detected on your PlayStation live chat system. This temporary code and your account password will be required for the first time log in.
